Doesn't Tom Tyler play Luke, the most prominent of the bad brothers in "Stagecoach"?

That he does! And his performance was awesome - many critics had nothing but praise for him.

I thought that was him. I have to say I was impressed by his role in that movie. He did an incredible acting job, especially considering how small his part was and how few lines he had to work with.

I was impressed, too!

Tonight I watched him in "Call of the Desert", one of his last silent films made in 1930 by J. P. McGowan. Tom Tyler really did have an interesting career. In addition to the many westerns he made, he was Captain Marvel - and The Phantom - in two film serials. As well as occasional dramatic minor roles in movies like "Brother Orchid" and "Talk of the Town."

Tom Tyler played an amazing killer in Powdersmoke Range , a wonderful western of the thirties.
Tom is not very popular in France , his movies are rather confidential in our country.
Interesting lines have been written about him in french by Didier Lodieu in his excellent book : " Le Western B / Les années 1930-1939 ".
